Subban had a pretty bad game

Thought the new guys all had good games with Hamilton unsurprisingly standing out but graves had a good game too and tatar had some good plays

Unfortunate that mercer got the double minor but other than that he looked to be getting better as the game went on

Agree with all this. D was very solid other than Subban at times, Graves I thought was fantastic. Hughes had a very meh game for him but still put up 2 goals, hopefully he doesn't catch covid this year. 1 goal for each of the top 3 lines and 4th line created a few good chances. Overall a good start.

We are not going to miss Subban AT ALL. I’d wager we’re better with White or Jaros than Subban.

Analytics from tonight show that Subban had a solid game. Just looks bad that he got beat on a play but otherwise played well. Not saying he shouldn't be free from criticism but let's be fair at least.

Defensive breakdowns were there 5v5 but we should really be concerned about special teams. Is the penalty going to get better this year because it looks the same as last year.
